How to Use Suction Pins on Your Educational Globe – Quick Guide

If you’ve just unboxed your new educational globe and spotted those small suction pins, you’re about to make learning geography a lot more interactive. These clever little tools turn a regular globe into a hands-on discovery experience — here’s how to use them effectively.

1. Clean the Surface First
Before attaching, make sure the globe’s surface is clean and dry. A quick wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth removes dust and helps the suction hold firmly.

2. Press and Twist
Place the suction pin gently on the globe where you want to mark a location. Press firmly while giving it a small twist — this helps create a stronger seal and keeps it from slipping.

3. Mark and Explore
Use the pins to highlight countries you’re studying, places you’ve visited, or dream destinations. Different colours can represent different themes — for example, red for capital cities, blue for oceans, green for UNESCO sites.

4. Remove Gently
When finished, lift one side of the suction base with your fingernail — no need to pull hard. The pin will pop off cleanly without leaving any marks.

Pro Tip:
If a pin loses grip, rinse it under warm water, let it dry, and it’s good as new.

With suction pins, geography becomes tactile, visual, and fun. Turn your educational globe into a living map of discovery — one pin at a time.
